Through community generosity, we help keep our schools vibrant, students engaged, and our district one of the best in the state. The HPEF grant program provides funds for innovative projects, creative programs, and imaginative approaches to learning to increase student success. Since 1996, HPEF grants have enriched the curriculum, inspired students and educators, and expanded community interest in public education. Over 400 grants in excess of $600,000 have been awarded to our district's schools.
The Highland Park Educational Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and thus all donations are tax-deductible.
And there are several great ways to support our mission!

New This Year: We are pleased to announce that we are now able to offer donors the option to select a targeted area of interest within our school district’s curriculum. Options include the Sciences, Humanities and Social Studies; Technology In Education; Cross-Cultural Enrichment; Arts Education; and Staff Development and Resources. Additionally, if you would like to donate to a specific program, such as the annual fifth grade trip to Camp Bernie or Diversity Day at the Highland Park Middle School, you can now target a donation directly to those programs. We kindly ask that these targeted donations have a minimum donation value of $500. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Invest in the education of our children with a monthly donation.
